Manchester United legend Dwight Yorke believes Ruud van Nistelrooy is back at the https://ufabet999.app club on standby to replace Erik ten Hag as manager.
“The appointment of Ruud? Ruud is a manager. He’s been a manager, he wants to be a manager and he’s done it, Ruud won trophies with PSV. When I saw him go to Manchester United I thought, ‘There’s something wrong,'” Yorke said.
“I know him well, but when you have a big coaching name like Ruud behind you. There’s definitely something wrong. It’s like when Roy Keane was at Villa under Paul Lambert and Martin O’Neill. I wouldn’t say ‘suspicious’, but there’s something wrong.”
“I’m sure Ruud is a professional, doing his job. But you can’t help but wonder if he’d be in a position to step in if Ten Hag was sacked. I just felt something was off, I thought it was a little strange.”
“I’m interested to see if Ten Hag gets sacked, do they give Ruud a temporary job or does he leave the role altogether? I think all the ex-players love United so it would be hard for him to say no if he gets the chance.”
Erik ten Hag is in hot water after a disappointing run of results, with Van Nistelrooy seen as the favourite to replace the Dutchman should he be sacked.
Van Nistelrooy returned to Old Trafford last summer to become Ten Hag’s assistant after turning down the chance to become Burnley’s manager, having previously managed PSV Eindhoven.
